editorial decidiu publicalo.

When Rowling finished the first book of the saga, titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone, it was offered to numerous editors and publishers until finally it was accepted for publication.
Even then, the publishers advised her to use the initials J.K. in place of her real name, Joanne, because they feared that readers would be reluctant to read books written by a woman. The letter K comes from her grandmother Kathleen.
Today, Rowling enjoys her success by holding numerous charity events, lectures and speeches in favour of reading.
